Springfield Spray Foam Inc was launched in april 2007. Springfield Spray Foam is a full service spray foam application company, we only install a 2# closed cell, medium denstiy foam. This type of foam is tested and certified by the CCMC, while there are a few different manufacturers of this type of foam we choose to use WALLTITE ECO which has the highest rating for ECO friendliness and LEED certification. This type of foam is also accepted as a vapour barrier without additional cover in certain applications.

During the first year the company expanded from residential to some small commercial projects. Over the next two years the projects have taken the team all over the province of Manitoba and into cottage country and have been from simple joist end applications to full house insulation. The founding member Layton Warren has used his knowledge of all aspects of construction which has been attained from working in the construction industry for thirteen years to try and fully understand what and where the problems lie with his customers projects so as to properly address them.

During the next couple of years the equipment fleet has been expanded so as to be more flexible and available to the customers needs in both timing and size of job. The equipment is comprised of truck and 28' enclosed trailers as well as a small portable unit for high rise and remote projects.

When considering spray foam insulation please do not put the price first, there are other factors to consider which far outweigh the price factor. There are no mould concerns associated with spray foam as it does not support mould growth. The closed cell design is what allows it to be accepted as a vapour barrier without additional cover. When installing in full stud wall cavities spray foam strengthens the total assembly by locking all members together through its seamless and continues bond, this also increases shear and rack strengths which make the total building envelope stronger.
